Zachary Smith is a 21-year-old transfer student. He began
his college education at Stephen F. Austin, then transferred to Santa Fe Art
and Design and is now settled at Texas State University majoring in Digital
Media Innovation.
Zachary is not only a student but an entrepreneur who
co-created a website called schmooger.com. The website is geared toward trends
based on your location and are most importantly, Instagram worthy. Excitingly
enough, Zachary, as well as his co-creator, presented their website to the
Howard Hughes Corporation over Christmas break 2017. Zachary said the idea came
to him when he met Scott Paul, former Vice President at Makers Studios for
Disney, and it has taken off since then.
My interaction with Zachary Smith was very intriguing, he
was extremely forthcoming with his information and left me feeling as though he
will do more great things after he has graduated from Texas State University. His
passion and drive for the tech industry, as well as discovering new things, left me believing I could definitely
learn a lot of from him!
