Prince Imo is not your typical college student. Prince went to Alief Early College High school, which allowed him to take college credit classes. In doing so, enabled him to graduate high school with not only a diploma, but with an associate’s degree as well. Prince now attends Texas State University and is in the process of getting a Public Relations Degree with a minor in Communications Studies and Leadership.

Prince was originally born in Nigeria, then moved to Chicago where he attended middle school. In 2009 he moved to Houston where he found his passion, dancing. Prince got involved in dancing when he was a freshman in high school and fell in love with it.  He then joined many dance groups out of school but didn’t really like them. When he came to Texas State he founded a dance group called “Kids Next Door," a coed group who dance to primarily hip hop music. At the Texas State Spring Talent Show, Prince and his group won 1st place overall.

In the near future, Prince hopes to get his master’s degree but he does not know where he wants to do that yet. His ultimate goal is to move to Los Angeles and work with choreographers such as Willdabeast, Alexander Chung and Tricia Miranda.
